Apostle Joseph C. Kyles
Apostle Joseph C. Kyles is the Visionary and Church Planting Pastor of the Heirs of the Promise Church. He has worked with numerous Churches and Organizations in the community and in many areas of ministry during the twenty plus years since answering his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His roles have included, assistant pastor and church administrator. His other duties have included bible class teacher and developer of church structure and strategy.
The skill and knowledge of this Man of God are unparalleled. He possesses a unique blend of experience and spiritual wisdom that he applies to every situation he encounters. He operates in the anointing of God in the prophetic, healing and deliverance ministries. He possesses a complete balance of ability and spiritual understanding.
The revelations in the preaching and teachings of Apostle are unquestionably direct from the throne of God. This Man of God teaches with power, authority, clarity and simplicity. His teachings are directed to lift the uncommon spirit in the common man.
Apostle is married to Pastor Chrystal Kyles - an anointed minister of God in her own right. He is the father of two daughters and one son; Jessica is a Graduate of Aurora University, Joslynn the baby girl now 6 years old and the newest addition Mr. Kyris Joseph Kyles, Born in July of 2008.
Apostle Kyles is a lifelong resident of the Chicago. He has served honorably for six years in the United States Army afterwards he attended Western New Mexico University on scholarship. Apostle Kyles and his wife developed a successful, ongoing business that is currently 24 years old. Through this business, the Kyles have impacted the lives of numerous people in the Chicagoland area.
Apostle is currently serving along side of several of our nation’s most prolific leaders. He is the President/CEO of the 37th ward Pastors Alliance where he works hand in hand with Overseer Dwight Gunn (Chairman) and the local alderman (Honorable Emma Mitts) to assure the involvement of pastors in the economic development of the community. Most recently the Alliance was noted across the nation for being instrumental in bringing the Nations first Wal-Mart to an urban city. It is the only Wal-Mart store in an urban city anywhere in the World at the time. It is also the only store with a number of first which have happened, like the first Wal-Mart every built by an African-American general Contractor (female) and the only Wal-Mart with a local community restaurant inside. There are a list of other first that were negotiated by Apostle Kyles and the Pastors Alliance.
Pastor Kyles also worked with Elder Alvin Bibbs, as a leadership team member in the Chicago Pastors alliance. An Alliance of Pastors from across the Chicagoland area from different denominations’, across ethnic, racial and gender lines. This great organization specializes in providing pastors with cutting edge information on leadership development and any other assistance for pastors who build bridges inside and outside of their communities.
Having been involved in the development of businesses and churches, Apostle has a well-rounded vision of both the spiritual and natural needs of the community. His keen awareness of community and deep love of God and his God's people derive from his upbringing in a Christian family. Apostle Kyles is a third generation Pastor.
Under the leadership of Apostle, The Promise Church (aka Heirs of the Promise) have realized an astounding list of achievements for a church of its age. Some of the congregation’s accomplishments include: Holiday feeding the hungry programs, numerous clothing giveaways, an annual back-to-school concerts with free school supplies, adoption of the Leslie Lewis Elementary School with free school supplies being given to underprivileged children.
The Church is currently in the process of converting an abandoned paint store into it new home. This first facility (12,500 sq ft) is all new constructions in an old brick shell. With a plan for total renovation of the building within 5 years a 1.5 million dollar project in the heart of the Hood, The Promise have taken on an ambitious project to say the least.
Most recently Apostle Kyles has served as a City Commissioner on the 21st Century Commission for the City of Chicago by appointment of Mayor Richard M. Daily. He has also served as a member of the advisory committee for the 2016 Olympic on the workforce development sub-committee. Apostle works even more closely with Alderman Emma Mitts to continue bringing resources to the Austin Community.

These accomplishments during the first twelve years of this Church and 21 years of Ministry are a credit to the leadership of Apostle Joseph C. Kyles. They speak of a man with the vision, wisdom, ability, and most of all, the prayer life to accomplish the mandate God has given him.
